“The progress each person makes on this road is due to their own initiative and hard work. As a tutor I get to be an enabler along that path - helping to get through bumpy stretches of a math or science unit or providing encouragement to keep going. What I mostly feel is privileged - to share time each week in a supportive, homey environment with people who are courageously pursuing their dreams.”
